SBRGA Standard Operating Procedures
PURPOSE: To provide guidance and guidelines in conducting the annual 30 in 30 Gun Raffle.
General: Our largest fundraiser is the “30 Guns in 30 Days” raffle. 1,000 tickets will be sold in the months prior to the drawings in October. Proceeds of this Raffle benefit the South Berwick Rod and Gun Association (SBRGA), a Maine non-profit organization. Raffle tickets are $30, and winning numbers are announced daily and posted on the SBRGA.org website. Winners receive new, factory-made standard firearms. Each ticket is eligible to be drawn thirty (30) times, giving entrants the opportunity to win more than once. Event Calendar.
a. Ticket sales June through end of September.
b. 30 days drawings in October.
Event Budget: The anticipated gross earnings form the raffle is $30.000.00. The current cost of prizes is $15.808.23. The administrative and incentive allowance is .05% of the gross revenue = $1500.00.
Operational and membership incentive expenses to include:
a. Tickets.
b. Distribution envelopes.
c. Member ticket sales incentives to be determined by the Raffle Committee.
i. SBRGA Stickers will be provided to members who sell 10 or more tickets. Additional Stickers will be available to all members at a cost of $5.00 each.
d. End of raffle member drawing. Determined by the Raffle Committee.

Raffle drawing. Raffle ticket numbers will be drawn either nightly or in blocks of days through October using numbered ping pong balls. Winning numbers will be announced daily on the SBRGA website.
