Entrance to the SBRGA:

To enter the SBRGA grounds, wave your white Photo ID/gate card in close proximity to the rectangular black box on the post before the gate. The LED on the black box will light momentarily, and the gate will lift. After you pass through, the gate will automatically close. To exit, wave your card near the box mounted on the arm of the telephone phone pole that is before the clubhouse as you exit. The gate will remain open for 90 seconds or until you exit, whichever is sooner.

HANDGUN AND RIFLE RANGES:

Our Club has a handgun range with targets at 25, 50, 75, and 150 feet and a rifle range with targets at 50, 100 and 200 yards. Current Club membership is required to use these ranges, unless you are an accompanied guest of a member. Shooting hours are from 9 AM until sunset daily. Please note that all pistol and rifle shooting ends at Sunset, not when it is too dark to shoot.

Simple Gun Safety:

  1. Treat all guns as if they were loaded.
  2. Never point the gun at anything you are not willing to destroy.
  3. Be sure of your target and know what is behind it.
  4. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target.

Range Rules:

NOTICE: In response to requests from a several pistol shooters, we have constructed a target frame at the 25 foot station to accommodate silhouette targets. As such, we have an immediate need for plywood scraps that can be sized to 24" x 36". If anyone can drop off any plywood it would be greatly appreciated. Better yet, if it can be delivered already cut it could be put into service immediately. Thank you.
